Shoreline Sculpture Trail
A Temporary Public Art Project on the shores of Weereewa Lake George
29 March to 13 April 2008
Proposals were called from artists in all media, responding to the locations designated along the shore. Ten sites have been made available for temporary installations and selected artists receive an artist’s fee of $500, a total fee for materials and construction.
The Shoreline Sculpture Trail aims to enhance the experience of visiting Weereewa during the Festival in 2008. Each artist provides a unique perspective, offering a new way to see the extraordinary landscape of Lake George.
