Works on Paper Prize

Supported by the Bungendore Wood Works Gallery

About the Prize

This is the first year the Weereewa Works on Paper Prize has been run as part of Weereewa – A Festival of Lake George. The theme for the Prize is “Shoreline” which invites reflections on the physical or metaphysical aspects of the lake.

There are two prizes: $1,000 first prize and $500 second prize. A selection will be made from all entries for a finalists’ exhibition at the Bungendore Wood Works Gallery, with final judging prior to the exhibition opening. The prize winners will be announced at the opening.

Works submitted for the Prize must be on paper, using any media, and no larger than A3 unframed. Entries selected for the finalists’ exhibition will be placed in a frame for display, and must be delivered mounted for this purpose.

Note that all work selected for the finalists’ exhibition will be for sale. The frames that the work is displayed in will also be for sale from Bungendore Wood Works Gallery. Your work may be sold as framed or unframed.
